The Joliet Cluster is continuing to support the Ridgewood United Community Pantry, an outreach ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church. In December we are asking for donations of 1 pound bags of rice. Continued donations of Toilet Paper would also be appreciated. Please place them in the blue bin in the narthex. Donations of money are always welcome to help in the purchase of other food items.
“Blessing of the Toys” On January 1st, there will be a “Blessing of the Toys”. Each child is asked to bring a special Christmas toy with them to church that day.
Christmas Office Hours The church office will be closed on Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26. The secretary will be in the office on Thursday, December 22. Also, please note that the deadline for the Circuit Rider will be December 25.
Pastor Glenna will be on Vacation December 26 through January 1. For pastoral care, please contact Pastor Sue, 440-251-0246.
Christmas Poinsettias can be picked up on Christmas morning after the church service. They will be labeled with your name if you ordered one. Please only take the poinsettias you ordered.
Taking Down the Greens We will be taking down the greens on Sunday, January 8after church. There will be a potluck at 11:30 after everything is put away. Please plan on joining us during this time.
New Member Class There will be a New Member Class after worship on January 15, 22, and 29. If you are interested, please see Pastor Glenna for more information.
Bag Ladies The ladies made up 30 stockings for Boomers kids. A big thank you goes out to the people who donated items to put into the stockings. And a very big THANK YOU to Greg Chapman for shipping the bags and diapers made by the Bag Ladies.
